AS A ROOM FRAGRANCE
In Burners - 8 drops in hot water
In Light bulb rings - 4-5 drops in ring
On a Wood Fire - 12 drops on 3 pieces of wood, 15mins before lighting
Room Spray - 10 drops in 500ml
Pot Pourri - To make your own, simply dry out 6 cups of your favourite flowers, herbs and leaves from the garden, add 12 drops of essential oil and 2 tbsp talc and store an airtight container for 2 weeks agitating daily. Then place in an open bowl and enjoy!
OTHER HOUSEHOLD USES
Kitchen Cleaner - Lemon, Geranium. Add 8 drops to a small bucket of warm water.
Bathroom Cleaning - Lemon, Lavender. Add 3 drops to a damp cloth.
Washing-up - Geranium, Lavender. Add 2 drops to the rinsing water.
IN LAUNDRY
In your washing machine - Add 3-5 drops in the softener compartment.
For Hand-washing - Add 2 drops to the final rinse water.
In the Tumble Dryer - put 2 drops on a hankie and pop it in with the clothes.
Ironing - Add 1 drop of oil to a plant mister and spray the clothes before ironing.
storage - Plce a few drops on some cotton wool balls in your drawers.
To freshen shoes - Mix 2 drops of essential oil to 2 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda, sprinkle in the shoies and leave overnight.
Suggested Oils
Lemongrass, Lavender Ylang Ylang or Neroli. In winter use Eucalyptus, Rosemary or Pine to help with colds. For insomnia, try marjoram, chamomile or orange blossom in your rinse for your bedclothes and nightwear.
